Mixed Feelings

Beyond the visual of my paintings, there are hidden metaphors. While painting “Mixed Feelings”, I was thinking about a lighthouse by the sea, and my mind explored this theme on the canvas.

The blue-grey expanse represents the vast and sometimes turbulent sea of emotions we navigate in life. The small red section symbolizes a beacon of hope and passion, much like a lighthouse guiding ships through stormy waters. This contrast highlights resilience and strength. The red edges symbolize hope and guidance that frame our experiences.
